No need to pretend.... we all know it that the writing's a bit over the head. Any creature that can convert or has the real form as a demon bat will not have any other wish than to use humans as a toast. This so called "paradise" is actually creepy. Better of the Hunters exterminating the Vamps.

The music box is a metaphor and it got destroyed...they deserve a happy ending for all the circumstances they been through.

I won't say this is not a good show, but it lacks cohesion at times. i feel like i'm getting ideas of plots rather than normalized plot.

Well, there are places with ice sheets on one hand, and super hot deserts in the same world. Maybe they are in the icy regions
